Actually, it's advise. But anyways, you may want to focus on an actual career instead of working at a clothing shop for minimum wage. Are you in school?Originally posted by l/l/rX

I can advise you on how to give better advice.
School IMO will ALWAYS be better than working at a mall for the rest of your life, even if you get into head office, all the guys with business/marketing/accounting degrees will still tell you what to do.
I would rather be one of the guys who tells YOU what to do

You'd probably spend more than half of your paycheck buying clothes, go to school. I did and it was well worth it!
If you had seriously considered working in the clothes business, and couldn't even decide what to do with that, I doubt you will be able to put together a successful career anyway. Just skip all the intermediate steps and work with all the other people like yourself, at Wal Mart.
For a young fellow, this sounds like a decent start in the industry. You cant start as a consulatant at Holt Renfrew as your first position in this industry. This would be a good starting point.
Not everyone wants a labour job and not everyone wants to go to school for 4 years to work at the mall after that.
Not everyone studies something like liberal arts. And if you're seriously considering working in a clothing store as a career then I don't know if you would have to worry about taking 4 years at a University. Think more like 2 years at SAIT or something.Originally posted by urban.one

What exactly do you want to do? A consultant at Holt, consulting on what? That's actually a serious question, not trying to be an asshat.
lol why would somebody spend 4 years in school to work at the mall?Originally posted by urban.one

i went to school for general arts and science (yup, i basically wasted 2-3 years of my life and money) and i landed a career that isnt physical labour and i make good coin.
