hanama bay! i prob spelled it wrong, but you gotta go snorkelling there! i loved hawaii, was there twice last year
Snorkel, parasail, surf, hike, and don't forget to visit downtown areas at night. So nice!
Funny... I just got back from a travel agent trip to Honolulu and Kauai 2 weeks ago.
Honolulu
Shopping at the Ala Moana Shopping Center and the International Market Place
Waikiki Beach!
Snorkelling at the North Shore
Pearl Harbor
Hanauma Bay charges an entrance fee to snorkel, there are lots of beaches just as good around the area
Kauai
You will not be able to swim anywhere here. The current is too rough. The only place you can swim is a man made protected swimming spot at Kee Beach
Lots of waterfalls
Spouting Horn
Waimea Canyon
Kauai is a quiet and romantic island. There really isn't much to do but relax. It's what the island was meant to be. One of the most beautiful places I've been to
Roy's in Waikiki is an awesome restaurant!
We ate there twice during our stay.
Its located on the beachwalk in downtown Waikiki.
If you wanna do a luau I highly recommend Paradise Cove! The best Luau in Oahu hands down.
Have a look at my pics from my stay in Oahu, just got back recently.

I'm flying out to Hawaii this Sat, and we're booking tix to see the Luau at Paradise Cove.
Some other things we have planned out:
- surfing lessons
- scuba dive
- submarine ride
- sunrise bike ride
- volcano tour
Can't wait!
Oh BTW, how long would it take to see Pearl Harbor + USS Missouri + USS Arizona?
We'll probably be heading there on Sunday afternoon, not sure if it'll be so busy that we're stuck there for hours to see 10 mins of stuff.
I avoided it for this reason. From what I hear be ready to give up most of your day to stand in linesOriginally posted by Majestic12

I love honalulu
Hanoma bay is awesome
great beaches.
(i learned to surf here)
Go to the back of the island out of wikiki and you can find beaches with white sand and 20ft waves. Same beach they filmed that surfing movie with those chicks and football players. (forget the name.)
Internation market place is always fun to shop at.
Good places to each everywhere.
They have a good aquarium there and a decent zoo. I think there is also a sea world?
I enjoys pearl harbor. When i went there was no line ups at all. I think i have been to honalulu about 5 times.
hiking up the big volcano is also fun. great view from the top.
hit up an ABC (so hard to find.....)store for macadamian(sp?) nuts
The lineups at Pearl might be bad, but I really really want to go. I'm really keen on seeing war memorials/locations.
So far I've seen
- Normandy, France (D-Day landings + memorials + cemetaries)
- Anne Frank's house
- Dachau concentration camp (just outside Munich, Germany)
- Hiroshima museum + A-Bomb dome
and I want to keep adding to the list
I hope I don't have to spend TOO much time waiting, but I'll probably go no matter what.
