Mass Texting on iPhones

Hey I just thought I would let the fellow iPhone users on here about a sweet program called SMSd that allows you to send the same txt message to more than one recipient..I know that is one thing that pissed me off about my phone but now we can do it. It's under utilities in installer and its called smsd

SMSd is awesome. I didnt know you could mass text with it
I just use it to delete messages that I dont want to keep anymore instead of deleting the whole conversation

Timestamps for each individual text message is nice too, even though they're wrong most of the time.

ive gotten used to it though
my razr was like that...must have been a bug for getting one of first ones out

whats weird about the iphone for me though is sometimes they are right..and other times it'll be completely off lol

My cheap ass 2 yr old Sanyo can do that. I thought everyone's phone could do that for the past couple of years.

Now all the iPhone needs (besides X & V) is horizontal widescreen texting keyboard.

a 600 dollar advanced and it doesnt even have CC for text messaging.

thats pretty dumb about the iphone

Can anyone tell me any reason why I would want to use an iPhone over the LG Prada or HTC Touch?

The LG Prada phone sucks. Used it and hated it. The Prada has no nice features at all.

HTC Touch is a good phone because its a smartphone - although I'm biased. Smartphones can be heavily customized and can do so much.

I havent played around with an iPhone too much but people seem to like it.

WiFi on the iPhone and HTC Touch is enough reason to get those instead of the LG Prada.

Yeah, I was just looking up specs for the LG Prada today and although it looks nice, yeah, it's pretty abysmal for features. For starters (on the list of the Prada's disappointment list) my current Sharp phone even has true VGA while that is just a bit over QVGA.

Thanks for the tip, I figured out how to do add 2 people to a single text but that was as many as you can do without additional programs.

But yeah, I've had some high end phones, Nokia N95 / N93, SE w900, LG Prada, but the iPhone is still by far the best cell phone I've ever used, especially since I use the iPod / e-mail feature a lot.

I just tried this out, You need to enter a phone number first, space, then add another phone number, or a name from your contact list.

wow that sucks for the iphone i thought that would of been standard
give the lg viewty a check, mostly the same features as the prada but a couple of new ones along with a 5 megapixel camera, but i'd rather have a n95 8gb

a lot of phone's can mass text message.... nothing new, I had a Samsung 4 and a half years ago that could mass text
