Any reason to make you thikn about why you should sell your car for an suv? What activities do you do such as camping etc that might need a suv? You should give some more details to receive more accurate advice. What kind of car do you have? Is it impractical to keep?

suv has more room, but waste more gas, slow, handles pretty shitty

sports has no room, decent mileage, handles nice

i hate suv's they seriously serve no point in the city

If you want a little bit of both then why not consider a wagon?

Werd, best of both worlds. There really is no purpose for an SUV in any city.

Go for both. I have a full sized suv and a sporty sedan. Best of both worlds and I can drive whatever I feel like on any given day.

    Default i agree with above

i baby my 350, but my pathfinder .....door dings, parking too close, road sandblasting ...doesnt phase me- its nice to have a ride that can handle some abuse after being so careful with the car all summer.

the best of both worlds, suv has space 4x4 and big tires+clearance, 350z has only the things it needs- power, 6 spd, 2 seats, and of course me with a huge fucking smile every time im driving it.

i was going to get a nice sport sedan and not keep the pathfinder but i felt it wouldnt be as sporty as i wanted and still a winter compromise.

slow SUV?!... ummm mine has a 6.0L V8 Corvette LS2 engine and handles very well with its sport-tuned chassis and 20'' wheels. You don't have to compromise speed when buying an SUV.

I agree on one thing... my gas milage sucks, but it's worth it to me.

    Audi Allroad

AWD, TONS OF SPACE, 2.7l twin turbo, easily tuned to 315hp, and 365ft-lbs torque (or a 4.2L V8 on 2004+). 4 position adjustable height, the lowest is nice on corners, the highest is great for off road (but not 4x4 offroading, lol).

    I love mine.

Edit: In the States it's considered an SUV, but in Canada it's a Wagon (Or get a S4 Avant, not as much space, or adjustable height, but 600 lbs lighter, and better on corners)

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

I sold my G35 coupe and while looking for something else to peak my interest, I got a 2007 Rav4 V6 Sport for the winter. I just wanted something practical with a little oomph to tie me over. I ended up falling in love with it.
It has the practicality of a minivan, the performance and handling of a decently quick car, very good fuel economy for the amount of power it makes, and to tell you the truth...i don't really have to take care of it. I rarely wash it and never dodge potholes. I ended up driving it for an entire year as my only vehicle and after a while, I started to miss having a car I could take pride in.
Things like washing my car was tedious in rav while i have always enjoyed it when i had nicer cars. I ended up giving into temptation recently and got another RWD 6speed Coupe, this time the ultimate driving machine. It has some staggered 18" blizzaks so I'll be driving it in the winter too. I contemplated selling the SUV because i don't really need the space or 2 cars but in the end, my love for it was renewed. It's a great vehicle and I still like it alot so i'm just going to keep both. Feels like settling down with a wife but a part of you still needs to have that mistress on the side.

Seems like you lost touch with the reason you bought your car perhaps... Time for some aftermarket goodies. I'm sure with more power your car might surprise you
