Police have issued a warning about the release of a dangerous offender from an Edmonton prison.
26-year-old Christal Lena Deines was recently released from the Edmonton Institution for Women after completing a six-year sentence for manslaughter.

Her criminal history also includes robbery, assault and uttering death threats.

Police consider her a violent offender and warn that she poses a significant risk to the community, especially when involved in substance abuse.

She’s described as five-foot-five and 145 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes
