Snowmobiling Photos from Dec 21-22, 2007 - First ride of the season!!!!!
So much powder. Freak'n heaven.
Yesterday, it was snowing and overcast, so we did some wicked tree riding, carving and exploring down creek valleys.
Location: Hope mountain range, near Golden, BC
Camera: Canon 20D, Canon 70-200F4L lens
Time spent taking pictures: 5min because I didn't want to stop riding.

what kind of sled are you using? it looks like you can get some pretty decent speed in that powder... i have a Mountain Cat 800 and its fantastic. those pictures are great, wish i was there.

Me and the guys in the pics ride 04-06 REV 800's. Look at these pics, they're almost all downhill turns, so the throttle isn't required a ton.

back country sledding in snow like that is an absolute blast. i used to do some amateur snow-cross racing... but the back country stuff is just so much more fun, gotta have a lot of time though, you can kill an entire day very easily out there.Originally posted by Teggy2nr
