if the op is the owner of the car with the dash cam, make sure you go for hit and run as well nothing like an extra thousand dollar fine and major points of the licence on top of the insurance increase.

I would not take her cash even if she offered more then the repair would cost. I would make it go through insurance so it costs her more and longer as a lesson for running.
