Winter Tire Group Buy

I was at My Tires the other day getting a new tire put onto my Spec V and I spoke with Anand about winter tires. He stated if I can get ten guys or so that want to go in together for winter tires we could get a better deal than what we can get regularly.

He is hoping on getting a good deal on Nokian's or Michelin Artic Alpine. He also stated that if we can get a stuff together soon (in the next month or so) we can get a better deal than in the fall.

This thread is to gauge interest at this point, I will be able to get a final price once we have ten or so interest people.

By the way, if your looking for wheels or tires give Anand a call, he WILL beat anybody in town for price and will bend over backwards to give you excellent service. For example, blew out a tire on Crowchild a couple of weeks ago and Anand had to order in a tire for me that took a week. So instead of letting me run on a spare for that week, he installed a used tire free of charge for me for the week. Again if your in the market give him a call @ 291-1661.

It is too early to think about winters but you can count me in. And yes Annand is an awesome dude.

I know it's early to be thinking about winter, however, Annand told me that if he can place an order in the next month or so he can get the best deals of the year. It's all about Supply and Demand... If your looking to buy winter tires with everyone else in November, you're probably going to be paying more for them. He also stated that if we can get ten orders before the rush his distributor could get us a better deal.

So far Yokohama is the only one that has come out with a really good discount. Details to follow shortly. I've got a call into my bridgestone supplier regarding promotions on blizzak.
