Default Stock 1992 Nissan stanza XE 2.4L - what would YOU do?

car is in exellent condition with just over 200K clicks.

for the time being im thinking ram air intake with a K&N cone filter and some new headers.

if you had the same car and a modest budget ( IE a 16 year old) what modifications would you make specifically to the performance aspects. No audio / body kits because i would rather go fast than look good at this time .

NOT SURE IF IM ALLOWED TO POST THIS, IF NOT PLEASE MOVE OR DELETE.

    Thanks to all that looked

But since your asking me what I would do, if your 16, worry about your school work and future instead of "going fast", cause spending your money to "go fast" leads to a deadend, you betta believe dat

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

I too would not choose that car for modification....and i remember being in your position too, being young and trying to get power out of, in my case a 1988 Prelude SE....LOL. Its better to find a better platform that responds to mods well. If you REALLLLY want to get power out of it tho and you can afford it, turbo is your friend. The ka24e in the 240sx has responded very well to boost applications without internal modifications, so i dont see why it wouldnt in your stanza. But then you need to think about other things, ie clutch, axles, motor mounts, exhaust, intercooler piping and how hard its gonna be to pipe in your case.

Again, i would say choose a different car....but its your choice what you modify. Theres a guy in the states who gets his jollys dropping ca18det's into older sentras, makes for a pretty fast car.

An intake won't make your car faster, it'll just make it more retarded.

That is not true GTS Jeff, by adding a intake, it makes it SOUND faster, and if it SOUNDS faster, it truly is faster, the butt dyno NEVER lies

Just save the money, and get a Bluebird SR20DET,

quite possibly the best thing you can do with only a decent
    amount of money
