These three are my favorites because these are my first shots EVER where I actually tried really hard to get the perfect shot. In 2007, I just started taking photography as a hobby. I started to appreciate more of my camera and fiddled around with the settings, rather than depending on Auto. Months have passed and I am now trying to perfect film to see what I can do.

Every year it gets tougher to pick my 3 favorites! 2007 was a fantastic year for me photographically, so many opportunities and learning experiences! These 3 are in no particular order.

First up is my favorite from working with the Defrost team. We built a set, we decorated it, we populated it, and had a blast. Having total control over lighting has left me lusting after a set of big strobes.



Second is my favorite from shooting events this year. Taking photos from the infield at Race City was exciting and a little scary at times! This photo will appear in the April issue of Import Tuner.

LOVE THAT CAR! THE PIC OF THE SKY IS AMAZING, TOO.
Third is from the Beyond photo crew's trip up to Troll Falls. Great scenery and waterfalls, but seeing the sunlit clouds over the Rockies was breathtaking. What I love most about this image is how much of a pain in the ass it was - this is a two-axis panoramic created from 13 separate images.

I didn't know Jennifer Aniston does photo shoots like this. Hmmm...now I know what to ask my girlfriend for xmas...
