Default When is enough going to be enough??

So like most other people on the board... I enjoy modifying my car..
I currently have an APR Stage 3 Audi S4, thats supposed to put out about 450hp on pump gas.. (and its very close, trapped 111mph with a boost leak this past summer)

I should be satisfied no? Its faster then about 95% of the cars on the road.. Yet am I being ridiculous for even considering changing my software to gain an additional 30-50hp? (for roughly $1300)

I don't know... Im at the age where I know I am better off investing that money... but really.. am I?

So my question is.. when is enough going to be enough???

It's never enough. I'm slowing learning that over the last 2 years.

Spend more money, get more power. Spend more money, get better handling. Spend more money, get better braking. Then, when you're done....spend more money, get more power. More! MORE! MOOOOOAAAAARRRR!!!!!!

It's never enough. HP is more addictive than heroin lol.

I wish I had more hp. All my cars seem dead slow to me ever since I refrained from modding. Won't be long till I fall off the wagon and turbo something.

Enough is enough when your finally satisfied or your out of money. Continue until one of those happens

I refuse to buy a car that comes from the factory with less than 300hp. Even then, it isn't enough.

I should start making that lower threshold 400hp.

I think enough is enough only if you get into a major accident.

Hell I've got a wagon (audi allroad), and I've got a BIG urge to make IT stage 3 , but what I'm realizing, is that I should just keep my daily driver a decent amount of horse, and go buy a project "weekend" car to make a hp monster with. (that way you can do other things that won't hinder yourself daily, ie take out the back seat, make a roll cage, etc)

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Do what you enjoy doing, if you're into modding cars do it, if you're into investing money then take that up. I find investments boring as hell. that doesn't mean I piss all my money away but I'm not one to spend countless hours monitoring companies, shares, interest rates etc. As far as I'm concerned you can take your money with you when you die, then again you can't take your car either.

    Hell yes, I'm going to!!!!
When they tell me it's time for hoses or monitors, I'm going to drive off of something as fast as I can.

Modding is ridiculous. I go in phases, just that the last one is about 4 years now.
Aging has made me think more about it, but I usually spend more per mod now.

It was enough when I could no longer keep traction, and couldn't fit anything wider wheel wise.

When I started out I thought I would be happy running a 13 and 100Mph in the 1/4. Now I'm running 110Mph in the 1/8th and still want to go faster.

That is hilarious, I love it!

I've blown way too much money on my car, but haven't done any real performance mods yet, I found an amg engine for my car though at a not too bad price. If I stay in Canada I'll buy it, as soon as I get out of debt.
