I'm on 3rd week of this. The first month is pretty much all about getting your body and joints use to these work outs. You'll start to lose some weight (if eating right) and you will look more toned. Real results takes months to show. I do feel stronger and feel that my body is more lose and are able to keep up with more work outs.

polymetrics will kick your ass left and right. I did 30min and i was DONE.

    Amateurs.

I started week 5 before I seperated my shoulder again playing hockey. So I'm out a few weeks as far as P90X goes. I can already see that the next phase is going to be intense. Your results will ultimately depend on your diet.

I enjoy the plyo, kempo, and the shoulders/arms discs.

haha you seem to have more muscular legs due to hockey. I have no leg muscle at all. I'm getting better though.I'm only on third week, i still have time to improve.

Getting to the gym is sometimes hard so I looked into this program. I'm looking at putting on some mass and gaining weight as opposed to losing.
Not recommended if you're looking to gain weight, there is lifting but it's a cardio intensive program and it's focused more on leaning out your body than bulking up.

I'm amused by the simplicity of this game. Bring me your finest meats and cheeses.

I ended up quitting due to a lack of motivation, but after finally finishing my important exams, I'm looking at getting back into shape (And restarting this program). I don't know how much to tell you, but after doing Plyometrics for a few weeks I definitely noticed an increase in leg strength. It's 1 hour to 2 hours a day of exercise (and it rarely goes above 1 and a half), but the key is following through till the end.

I went to a couple London Drugs but didn't see any. Nor chin up bars etc. They have yoga mats and the push up tool.

Did it till week 3 then quit a couple months back, re-starting it this week. I hated the chest and back workout. I'm like the weakest guy in the world and when i saw the Chest and Back, I could only do 30 minutes of it (40 if you include the warmup) and I was basically done for the day.

A buddy of mine who's done all of it, said that for beginners it's good to split the workouts in a day. As in due the warmup + first 30 minutes in the morning and warmup + last 30 minutes (ab ripper x optional) in the evening. That way my body can get used to it. Hopefully that strat will deter me from quitting.

Definitely a good program to have a good core + get toned, I also felt a lot stronger and had more energy when I ended week 3. With the calendar, nutrition guide and everything - it's the best workout I found out for a newbie like me.
