Default Cheap + Good exhaust work....

I'm looking for a place that would weld in a flex pipe for a reasonable price, the current exhaust is aftermarket and developed a leak....

carline muffler quoted me $130, just wondering if you guys have a better and cheaper option....

Is that price including the flex section? If it is the it is a fair price. I charge the same.

    yeah, that is quite true....

that include's the flex section, might have to just go to carline for this one, although it would be nice to get a quote at around $100....

I think when I went to carline to get my flex pipe fixed the pipe part itself was $75. Went to CT to see if I was getting ripped... they were selling a 6" section of flex pipe for $60... so the foot long one I needed was actually a good price. $130 seems very reasonable depending on the length of the pipe.

Ya the flex section depending on diameter retails between $55 and $80. It is a fair price.

wow, i thought the piece was $15 or so, but $60?, hrm....

the diameter is 2.5inch, so i guess $130 isnt bad after all....

call me cheap if you want, but being in school full time doesent exactly leave me with loads of expendable cash....
