just picked it up a couple of weeks ago... i'm having so much fun with her... once you open up the second throttle there is such a beautiful roar that comes from the engine...

i went to blackfoot, and they told me for a first bike a gixxer 600 is ok.. but 750 is "die-able".. do u think this is true?

    First off, awesome bike...!

Second, be carefull out there...especially a newbie on such a bike! Its easy to get caught up in the moment and crack the throttle at the wrong time...or time a corner wrong etc...

Take your time, go at your own pace.

And last...take all those damn keys off your key chain!! Those keys are going to scratch the shit out of the key cylinder...then it looks like ass. Just use the single bike key...keep everything else in your storage compartment.

It was in the crate when I picked it up in April, and now it has 7900km. I love it.
On my second set of tires already. (I'm kinda hard on it)

depends which gixxer... people usually compare the R1 with the gixxer 750 cause the gixxer 1000 is alot faster.

    Frenchdriver Thast an awesome bike.
But for your first bike do u think that the 750 was a wise choice. I think that bike is pimp but i heard its not the best bike to learn on for your first bike. After riding it do u still think its a good bike for someone to learn on, like ppl will get used to it after awhile right.
