    does anyone know which rims were the lightest of all time??

    what size of wheel are you talking about? obviously a 20" wheel will be heavier than a 13" one...

    axis maglites are fairly light 17" trim weigs in at 14lbs

    17" Volk CE-28N's are 13.4 lbs (maybe 13.8 can't remember), but oooo so expensive

    Spoon SW388 (16x7)=11.9lbs
    Mugen MF10=11lbs

    Also Racing Hart CP-035, Velox PG-5's or Centerline RPM are light.

    And of course the volks that were already mentioned.

    Superleggeras are 15lbs in a 17" rim. Light, but not the lightest out there. Sooo tough though.
    Drag racing is for fast cars. Solo 2 is for fast drivers.

    superleggeras are the lightest common/cheap wheels. if you want to get ridiculous weights though then magnesium is the way to go.
