Hey Guys, I just wanted to throw it out there that we are the Alberta distributor for Cobb Tuning parts and as some of you may know they have the new Accessports in development for the speeds. Cobb makes some great stuff, I had a ton of their stuff on my Subaru and they never did me wrong.

hehe as much as I want to mod my car, I'll probably leave it stock until at least my warranty expires which won't happen until Mar 2013

Wheels is probably the only one I can think of to mod to my car. Haha shit I think I'm getting too old to tune cars nowadays.

My friend just picked up the first 2008.5 MS3. Nice car. They revised the interior a touch and have some different colors available. He got the Metropolitan Grey. I was looking at the Volvo C30 for a bit but after riding a couple hours with him the MS3 rocks my socks.

I just went to the canadian mazda website and they don't have pictures of these new interior. I still wouldn't mind a leather upgrade on my seats though.

not much of a change... from some pictures I've seen, the lighter grey accent pieces are now piano black by the looks of it...

Question about the speed6 AWD, is it all-time 4x4 or only when you're launching or having traction issues (like some other shitty AWD platforms)

sweet pictures, thanks man! I actually like my dash board better than the newer ones. The only thing that's making me mad about now is that they upgraded the deck from just a CD player, which I have, to an MP3 player which they newer ones have. Ah well, good thing I have an IPOD adapter that was part of my package.

^ Do you find that the iPod adapter isn't that user friendly when switching playlists and such? And with such a nice long text display, why is there to text???

Yeah the adaptor isn't very user friendly at all. It took some time before I got the hang of how to use it but it's quite a hassle to use. My dash doesn't actually show anything that relates to the iPOD other than what playlist I'm on and what number of the track I'm playing. Ah well, I'll take what I can and I can live with this flaw that my speed has... for now.

speed6 AWD system is FWD biased and sends power back only when needed IIRC.

Not entirely true.. the ms6 can go between 100/0 front/rear split to 50/50 split .. however it only goes into 100/0 in tight low speed turns (parking lot manuvers) or when the handbrake is applied...

The rest of the time there is torque always being delivered to the rear.. that is why it has a watercooled transfer unit

What colour is your car cragg?
I am constantly running into the same speed6s' every week.. Mostly in the deep south.. It would be nice to get a chance to meet up with other owners.. I've been datalogging the car to try and figure out it's habits and would defintely like to try and get some logs from other vehicles to compare
