While it may not be fully true, you can look at it logically.

Nothing is free in this world. If you think that drinking "magic" diet pop will keep you thin with no side effects, you're just ignorant. Its synthetic (man made) chemicals going into your body. Also, it hasn't been around for that long. It was first discovered in 1965, and started being implemented into food in 1981. Who knows what long term effects are associated with this chemical.

Do what you guys want, just keep in mind that there are no freebies in this world, and aspartame definitely makes too many promises...

I used to work for Mosaic Sales Solutions, basically marketing etc. Diet Coke is geared for a female market place while Coke Zero is the one geared for the male market place. We would do all the promotions for Coke, and we would give out free T-Shirts. Every Diet Coke shirt would be female, no male shirts, while Coke Zero would be the opposite.

I do agree however that obviously man-made chemicles aren't as good for your body as say water. But if you are using that argument I would hope your entire diet represents that.
