I still dont see how this is possible. A man's sperm is what determines a baby's sex (amoungst a host of other important things) How can they alter a female cell to do all of that?

Well, children don't have the option to accept the religion or mother tongue that their parents force upon them either. I'd imagine that those would have a far greater / longer lasting impacts on the children than if their parents happen to be gay.

I think the real shock factor here is the genetic mutations that are being accomplished and the potential ramifications of them. If we ever "progress" to a point where children are actually made that way I think we'll have a lot bigger issues to deal with than the fact that their parents might be gay.

And, I sincerely doubt that this research was done for no other reason than to provide an avenue for a couple of lesbians to procreate without a little visit from "internal affairs" if you know what I mean.
