I'm really impressed with this car. Saw the commercial tonight during the Superbowl. Priced the same as a 3series Bimmer.

Looks good. The Audi R8 looked good too.
it looks like they were trying really hard to duplicate the 3 series from the side. Its nasty looking though, esspecially the front, plus its a hyundai!
i like it

Depends on pricing, but I kind of like it. Not the front so much, but the side an rear are ok looking. 6 speed automatic, limited slip differential, logic 7 sound system, sounds like a pretty good package to me. If its as reliable as the other Hyundai's, then it will be a really good car.

War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength.
Well their old flagship car the Azera could be had fully loaded for $40K, so if they are saying this car is priced the same as a 3 series, I'm guessing around $50K
A 375HP luxury car for $50K is amazing if you ask me.
Hyundai is taking a big step here. It looks like it is going to be an excellent vehicle and we will have to wait and see how consumers look at it. The build quality looks excellent, the engine should be great and it looks pretty damn good, and a RWD V8 luxo cruiser for that money is un-heard of.
They mention during the ad that they're comparing pricing to the 335i which is $42,000 base. I think it looks good but I just couldn't feel good riding around in a Hyundai. I care too much about the badge on my car.
i like it too, yes its a hyundai but pretty nice at that..Originally posted by finboy

Wow.. looks impressive.
"2008 Hyundai Genesis Prices: Hyundai has hinted that Genesis will have a starting price just under $30,000."
It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice.
I'm sure Hyundai felt the same way.. First thing I noticed was the that the car had no badging on the front .. Perhaps this was done purposely..Originally posted by Mibz

i would buy it, its a nice car
Ya it looks nice !
It will be a great lease car.
I dont think I would buy one though.
Hyundai is really stepping up their game.
This car, and their new RWD coupe, are going to be hits.

Werd. Anyone else notice the lack of badging?

^^ In the superbowl add, the car had some badge on the hood that looked like the Bentley wings...
Nice 3-series rip-off.

5 years ago, i would have laughed at the thought of owning a hyundai... but they've really got some quality cars now...
i'd still feel a bit funny about the hyundai name, but i think the stigma will be gone in a few years... it wasn't too long ago that toyota or honda had that same problem
Looks good to me, we'll have to see if there are problems once it comes out.
It looks nice, a good direction for Hyundai.![]()
