    Default Tipping

So I have a question about tipping.

Take out: when you guys do take out, do you tip? I've never done so. Am I supposed to?

Delivery: what's your standard for tipping? I don't usually get delivery cause I find it takes too long and by the time it gets to me, the food sucks and I would've been better off either going to get it myself or making my own!

And not food related: Taxi: what do you tip a taxi driver? I think on something like $40 I only give the guy maybe $4, but usually less.

And on that note, what about valet and bell boys? Usually $2-3? $5 if I am feeling especially good.
You have a couple of photos that are great... you must be very good at photoshop!

Save your money. That $10 isn't going to get you laid.

Especially if you had a $150 tab.

LOL. If a waitress is good I usually tip 15% or higher. I've tipped 40%, that DID get me laid.

Me and a buddy went to earls last wednesday for a couple martini's and a plate of wings. The guy behind the bar was pretty funny and also gave us a free plate of wings when the kitchen sent out the wrong flavorso we each gave him $40 bucks for our $30 tabs.

Sure glad that didn't get me laid.

I never tip if I have to pay before I eat, unless it's delivery, and mainly because I used to do it and I know how poorly they get paid and how badly they rely on tips.

on somewhat related topic, anyone been to quiznos in north hill mall (the one beside SAIT, i think its called north hill) Anyways, pay debit and it gives you the tip menu like at a restaurant. Seriously...wtf can a tip there possibly be for? Takes forever, usually never really made with great diligence...i mean....its just a sub. http://www.ehow.com/how_108890_tip-properly.html

15% for normal, maybe more if service is good.
I've always wondered about tipping for stuff other than food. What about haircuts?

    CHEAp!!

If the service was good, I always leave a minimum of 15 to 20%.
... even if the food sucked.... 'cause its not the waiter's/waitresses fault so I don't punish them by being tight with a tip....

P.S. If you can't afford to leave a minimum 15% tip (if service was satisfactory) ... DON'T EAT or DRINK THERE....

They give you a free parking voucher if you eat there. You just have to ask for it and they bring it with the bill.
