laptop speaker help
ive done up my googling and no help, and basically im looking for some advice.
I was listening to some music on my laptop with my earbuds while wearing crazy wool slippers. long story short, static electricity built up and zapped my ears through to the headphones. Now when i unplug them, the speakers dont turn on, the computer seems to think the headphones are always plugged in. i know the speakers still work though because they work during startup.
any help? i tried updating the drivers for the soundcard, but help thus far.
