I've been looking into the same thing. So far the leader in my book is the Camos setup.

It handles music, cellphone and helmet to helmet all in one. And good battery life.
I'm still sourcing Canadian distributors but I can easily swing on down to Seattle to grab one.
Oops ... they have a Canadian website and you can order online.

they seem rather large, like wouldn't a normal bluetooth headset be capable for this, i know they aren't but they should make one without the big mic piece.
Sony makes a nice set of bluetooth earbuds. I can't see any way around not having a mic if you wanna bluetooth to your cell for calls or helmet to helmet. In the fullface version, the mic velcros to the inside by your mouth.
I been trying to figure out how I can get earbuds and and a mike to work with a half helmet...Originally posted by S4maniac

I haven't seen any earbuds intended for helmet use. They are all full ear or velcro speakers attaching to the inside of the helmet. There are all types of mics for half helmets. From what I can tell, there is no way around having a foam covered mic for the mouthpiece. Its a wind noise thing.
How would you attach velcro to a half helmet for the hearing device? Iow whats the point of the mike if you have no ear piece?
Dainese offers a helmet with a built in bluetooth system. I have tried it out myself and it has awesome sound, even at speed. With the option of open or full face. Its a very nice set up.
Stop by Blackfoot to check it out!
I have an arai that has the option for headsets, removable ear piece, i would like to get my hands on a built in unit though that doesn't take up much space in the helmet, mines tight across the face so i dont see where the boom mic would go
You can't. You would have to wear the headset type.Originally posted by old&slow

The 500H is what you would have to use.
