    Default oil pan gasket

anyone replaced an oil pan gasket on 93 240sx? Was there a lot of work involved, or can the pan be easily pulled? Havent had the chance to put her up on the hoist and check the accessibility of it yet. Any advice would be great (this is a first timer for me) TIA

yes it's very easy...all you need is a socket set and a wrench. On my car however i have to remove half of my front mount to be able to squeeze in and take out the last bolt but maybe nissan engineers where a bit wiser in that department

I put it on the hoist today and the oil pan looks fairly easily accessible, except for a few tranny lines and a support. There is a support bracket that "goes" from the engine to the tranny. It is in the way of the bolts on the oil pan. Is this bracket safe to remove?? Or must I provide extra support while this bracket is removed?TIA
