    Default Dodge Journey

I was looking at some of the other vehicles Dodge had at the Chicago auto show (besides the challenger) and the Journey caught my eye. I think it looks pretty good and was pretty impressed by its interior. It comes out later this year, but I though it looked pretty promising for Dodge entering the crossover market.

I heard it handles pretty poorly. Lots of body roll. Its promising, I mean its well designed. But still its not as good as the GM products. (Acadia, Enclave, Outlook).

Looks good to me-- sporty and a nice blend of SUV and sedan. I also like the chrome crosshair grill...

Oh yeah, the interior is packed with options - Sirius radio, dvd, the chill zone, MyGig and tons of storage. You could go on a serious road trip in this thing.

Kinda reminds me a squared off version of the Pacifica.

Looks like a sporty (looking) minivan.

Here's a pic from the Chicago Auto Show.

Looks cool to me. The appeal is definitely the gas mileage-- it gets 16-19 city and 23-25 highway. Has the suv look without being a gas guzzler.

Congratulations, it's what the industry calls a 'CUV.'

Yeah, CUV is a good way to describe it. It just seems so much more practical than a minivan or SUV. I would just love it for all the storage space.. would be great for trips or even hauling stuff. (I tend to move a lot).

Sat in one at the auto show, and one sitting on the lot at Courtesy while waiting for the service people to finish up with our car. Im not too impressed. The third row is really really tight, the interior is kinda cheap, and the V6 is noisy under acceleration. Its ok, not the best though.

Out of all the vehicles at the car show, Dodge and Ford had by far the poorest interiors in terms of fit and finish, attention to detail, and quality of materials. The Journey looks good on the outside but it stops there in my opinion.

I did notice GM/Chevy has stepped it up this year but is definitely still behind the competition. What REALLY impressed me this year was Hyundai, most notably the Veracruz and Genesis.
