    according to 660news, it was blue ice

    Transport Canada is investigating, and have said the chunks of ice likely came from a plane's lavatory, because of the blue dye in it.

    This seems to happen (or at least be reported by Alberta media outlets) every few years. I remember a story like this being reported in Calgary no more than 5 years ago...
