    Default WMP or iTunes?

For those of you that use your computer to store and listen to music...what program do you use? I have an ipod so I use itunes, but I find it a little quirky.

So for just listening and organizing on my desktop pc I've switched to Windows Media Player. I find it a lot easier and quicker to navigate with.

Same here....iTunes since I always use my iPod out of the house, but if I'm organizing/sorting songs I'll just use WMP since it loads up faster, and is easier to "skip" through to different parts of the song.

itunes is great on a mac, but the general consensus is that it's an annoying piece of crap on windows. i use foobar2000. not as pretty but does way more and is way faster.

iTunes just because I can organize my music a little easier. I have over 10,000 songs which can get a little tedious to organize.

    winamp

how unfriendly can it b? it looks almost like a car deck with a playlist and an EQ under it

it also doesn't force you to catalogue shit and run dumb updates
i don't find it a problem using just explorer to organize my music, and also tag editors. i have just over 100gbs of chinese music

Just for playing music, winamp is ok. But I'm talking more for ripping, organizing, adding album artwork etc.
I find WMP so much easier for that. For artwork you just right click and "find album info" and it does everything for you. Sorts everyting into genre, artist, album.

With iTunes, its harder to get album artwork to automatically update and especially if you've downloaded torrents, iTunes wont always add them properly. No problems with WMP.

iTunes is a RAM whore, if I didn't have an iPod I'd never touch it. Unfortunately because I have an old computer and I don't want two versions of my songs I just stick to iTunes.

iTunes for music, and Media Player Classic for videos (really good aspect ratio configurations).

But yea, I have an iPod / iPhone so iTunes is pretty much the logical choice.
