lol why do we always have to talk about Tiesto, there is nothing wrong with him, he's great, and has been since 99 when he did Gouryella (betcha never heard of that one), just not as good IMO as ppl praise him to be.. theres tons of great artists out there who produce and DJ as good or better than him.

I think it's all the guys who've never heard electronic music in their lives pick up a fken In search of Sunrise or watch him DJing in a fken white donut with lasers and call it/him 'The best gdamned music i've ever heard, nothing else compares'... paleaaase

lol that mstrkrft remix is not bad, i like their retro feel, kinda lime MGMT but pure electronica. good find, they were here yesterday @ whiskey, went last year, not bad but little too dirty for me

edit: anyone going to see Joachim tonight? Invasion Tour 08
    from his myspace lol:

He's great at mixing, He's ok at remixing

But his composed songs arn't that great, and thats the reason why people don't like Tiesto.

i suppose that being said most DJ's start with the remixing so it grows the most therefore having more competition but yea tiesto used to be my favorite but ISOS asia i absolutely hated.

haha man... i spent most of the summer and all of fall in romania this year, and i'm so sick of this stuff, but when i saw this thread, i figured i'd post a couple of my "favorites" i heard there personally, i do like some trance/tehno, but most of the shit i heard there was so fuckin girly, it sucked major balls... I saved these just to make fun of them with my friends

oh how i would piss myself laughing when i'd be on the bus and some guy that'd be trying really hard to look hardcore would get a call on his cell, and it'd be some song like this, for pre-pubescent girls

    inna - hot

sash feat stunt - raindrops (encore une fois)

^ ahh yea, he does the Promiseland (chagall remix is ) , maybe i'll go check it out tonight, you know.. as much as I LOVE the warehouse cheap ticks tho but really i despise the warehouse and will only endure it for a worthy DJ venue.

Some oldies but goodies (some may lean towards Eurotrance over pure vocal trance, but meh) :

    Apollo - Dance

Infinity - Naked in the Rain (2001 original mix)

Empyre - Fantasy (Happy Trance Mix)

Disco Bee - This is my Club (Indietro rmx)

Elissa - I dream (original mix)

Chicane featuring Tom Jones - Stoned in Love

Nordic Stars - Crying in the Rain (club mix)
