running rich at idle, leaking fuel system, screwy charcoal canister thing..
when you installed your turbo did you upgrade your fuel pump?
You start with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.
shouldnt have to, honda fuel pumps usually dont have to be upgraded unless pushing alot of fuel.
Yes I did.Originally posted by 5.9 R/T

Is your pump in tank? If it is make sure the seals around the pump are properly set and check any fittings that you may have losened off for tightness.Originally posted by gpomp
Yes I did.
Edit: This is addition to Jeff's suggestions. If you don't have an FPR and a AFC installed and your running a high-flow pump you may be dumping huge amounts of unburned fuel out the exhaust which could also cause that smell, but your not complaining of bogging or poor throttle response so I don't think that is the problem.

Stock fpr should be able to handle.

Sounds like you are running rich at idle d00d. What are your RPM's like at idle.
Maybe your tank is leaking toxic fumes into the compartment that are slowly rotting away your brain matter and turning it into a heap of organic compost?
Honda fuel pumps are useless for any sort of setup where horsepower is involved...Originally posted by ecstasy_civic

Im gonna have to go ahead here and agree with ecstacy civic. Considering the size of most Honda engines, the fuel pumps that they use are more than sufficient unless you are running HUGE boost... And when I say HUGE I am not talkin like 10 PSi here.Originally posted by pox

I think I found my problem. I can see gas spraying out from the exhaust. Guess I'm running kinda rich?
Are you sure its gas dude???Originally posted by gpomp

I am thinking it is most likely condensation.
You should not be shooting gas out your exhaust...
Hrm, is that what it is? But anyhow the A/F does show rich at idle.Originally posted by TurboDSM

i like the smell of gasoline; but strongly smelling it while your driving would freak me out, id be scared that my car would blow up
considering you burned 44liters of gas without boosting in 170MILES...i would say your running a tad on the rich side, :P
Travel
hmmm i go thru 50L of gas in 300km...and im NA, i dont think im running rich, i always smell gasoline as well.
but ive got a hole in my gas tank
It sounds like a leak. It would be more noticible at idle for two reasons. One your pump is providing the same pressure but the fuel isn't being used as much and finds another place to go then the engine. Second the smell is not being blown past the car as when your moving. I would do a careful inspection of the fuel lines and connections all the way back to the tank while it is at idle. If it was too rich you would not smell it as gas unless it was really running shiitty.
.
richness... turn down the pressure for a little and see if it goes away.

Let this thread die... The problem was fixed after the new injectors and turning down the FMU.
