My prediction is that they announce Castro's death within the next month, but I think he's already dead.

This is truly a sad day for me. That vulture GW Bush has already issued a statement that Cuba should "move towards a democracy"...... Here we fucking go!

It's not like Castro had magic powers to defend Cuba, if Bush was going to do something, he would've by now

I don't think he's dead, but I do think he is terminally ill, and will die inside the next little bit.

However, don't kid yourself into thinking this changes much, with his brother likely to be at the helm.

They've annouced the brother (Raul) will be taking over. I don't know much about this guy but I can't see him being all that different from Fidel. If he was, I don't think Fidel would have handed control over to him.

Sounds like he intends to do well for the economy.

HOLY SHIT... even he's 76 years old... doubt he'll last long!

Let's hope that no one planned to visit Cuba anytime soon. Internal strife in Cuba is more than enough for revolution to break out.

In all honesty, though, I hope this means better relations between the US and Cuba. It's about time those American classic cars are put to rest.
