Question Good place to get my car detailed

Anyone know a good place where I can get my car detailed? I have a few light scratches on it and stupid me, I left the car bra on all winter while washing the car once every few days. The paint on the hood under the bra is a pinkish-red color instead of red now. I've been told it should polish out, and I don't really know how ot do it myself. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try Masters Touch Auto Salon in the towers on southport road (at the corner of macleod and southland). I don't have their number or anything, but I work in the building and they have cleaned my car a couple of times and they do really good work.

Often I am too busy to open the garage, and head out to FULLY detail my car: and I am left wondering if I should take my baby to have her detailed!? Now owning a black car has taught me a hell of a lot about maintenance and proper cleaning procedures... it's SO easy to screw up and having an ugly scratch(s) appear on the paint!

My questions are as follows: are detailing shops, such as Masters Touch Auto Salon fully insured against screwing up customer cars? What kind of products do detailing shops use? From a business perspective, is there a proper screening procedure to insure you are hiring someone who knows how to clean and manage automotive paint?

Hmmm.... so many questions... and so few answers in today’s world... little help...

    Thanks,

    Peter

You could always try calling them and asking From my perspective, if I go to detail the car myself I am WAY more likely to screw up my paint than they are. When I gave my car to Master's Touch before world of wheels the car was filthy and it came out cleanered than it had been at any point since it rolled off the showroom floor. When I took the car in, there were 4 hot rods sitting down in the basement waiting to be done. Based purely on the fact that someone is willing to trust a completely restored '57 chevy to these people to clean and detail is enough for me. When you see 4 show cars worth over $50k each sitting there waiting it tells you something about the quality of the work they are doing.

I believe they vary anywhere from $125-$300

Bol's Detail is $125 for exterior+interior and I think that is the best deal out there at the moment

I can speak very very good things about this shop. My manager bought a 1995 trans am.. Black.. th epervious owner braged how he took it to soft cloth car washes every week.. well the paint was dull and had many little sctatches. The owner was very cool about it. He droped it off on friday night and got it back one week later (a little cheeper that way).. when the car came back to my shop, i could no longer see any scratches in the paint and was very clean and smooth. The interior was also very well cleaned and smelt like new car for about a month. I have seen several very very nice cars waiting for cleaning, and i belive that this shop does good work. I would call and ask what the policy is if they scratch the car and such, They have to have a shop insurance if coustmers cars are comming in and out all the time, dammage is bound to happen some where down the line

I don't wanna spend a small fortune on getting my car detailed. I don't know how to do it properly myself so I thought I would get someone else to. My car is clear coat red and its a 94, I'm not too worried about new scratches I guess its pretty much just to make it look good so I can hopefulyl get rid of it
