Default Proud new owner of S14.

Most of you have probably seen the car At autodream seeing as its Nguyens old Green kouki 240. and of course the purple valve cover kinda gives it away.

I Picked the car up on tuesday even and i must say im truely satisfied with it. The SR is definitely Quite the upgrade from my 1.5L tercel LOL.

I'll upload some pics here in the coming days when its warm, and i can keep it clean for longer then an hour. haha.

Completely stock other then FMIC, full 3" Exhaust and megan Downpipe.

Plans so far are a GT30R, Some sort of standalone, probably AEM EMS. 850cc injectors, the works. i have a pretty good platform for modifications and im only aiming for roughly 350-400WHP. Anyone have any tips, and things to watch out for with the SR, I know a bit, but nothing major.

Thanks, and Proud to be a Part of the S-Series!

    Congrats!

I'd say that is quite the upgrade! Just make sure and don't crash it tho, my buddy went from a corolla to a stock S14 and cracked it up drifting into a stop sign. Cuz he is an idiot.

Stand alone and 850cc may be a little much for 350-400 hp. but if you plan on upgrades in the future then for sure!

E-manage and 650-750s should be good for 400whp without maxing out the injectors..

Don't go emanage. For some reason there are issues with tuning the ignition timing on it which really limits your power making ability.

You will need to upgrade the MAF, injectors, turbo, fuel management, and some kind of boost controller to get that kind of power. The FMIC and exhaust you have will help.

Also, since that is a SHITLOAD of power, I would recommend upgrading the stock shitty brakes.

I hate it when people go pretty stock to crazy. Do it in steps, youll appreciate the car more...
