Default Looking for a metal Fabricator or good welder.

Hi guys, i need some assistance for an idea.

Camping season is coming up, and we plan to do alot this year.

Long story short, we plan on using a car top carrier, but also want to bring our canoe along as well. The problem is, with the car top carrier on, the canoe will not fit flat on the roof racks. Basically looking for someone that can make something like a rack, that we can secure to the roof racks and the canoe that can basically put the canoe on an angle beside the carrier.

the above is the best i can do with paint, but the piece filled in with red is what i am looking to make.

anyone that can help with this, or knows someone please let me know.

    Just a thought...

That design you have sketched looks like it would create a lot of drag...

Could be damaging to the canoe at highway speeds.

Maybe get a design to clamp on to the roof rack and keep the canoe level.

    Good luck.....

while that would be ideal, the roof racks are not wide enough to allow the canoe to lay flat on the gunwales beside the car top carrier, hence why i need to rotate it a bit to fit.
