looking for insight on roof rack

so with mountain bike season coming up im trying to find a roof rack for my 91. ive searched mr2oc and some other forums but havent found any "good" ideas yet. i went down to racks unlimited but the cowboy down there said that a universal rack would bend the roof up???. anyone have an insight on this or even better part numbers for thule or yakima??

rear hitch with a bike rack would work depending on exhaust and bodykit.
