damn whistle

okay..here's the dealio...when i accelerate, and then let off the gas I can hear a whistling sound comming from the engine...i have a CAI, but I've tightened all the rings on it and made sure all the seals are as tight as they can be, so my question is what could it possibly be..my brother thinks the sound is comming from were all the belts are, but I'm really not quite sure, so does anyone have any idea what it could be?...thanx alot

i dont think so man...cuz when i first got my CAI, it wasnt like that...n then it just started up a few weeks after i "recharged my filter" but like i said, i made sure everyhting was snuff tight on the CAI, so i have no clue what it is.

do you have a funnel type intake cone???

if so, take off the intake filter and check inside to see if the center piece of the funnel is missing,

then check at the throttle body to see if its caught up in there, its like the same size of the butterfly valve of the TB, hopefully that's the problem

It is easy to find out, open the hood at idle and press the gas pedal. then release.

u shall hear the same sound.
