If you've had a black eye since the 21st of Dec, you should probably go to the doctor to get it looked at.

On a more serious note, I buy zheng gui shui at the chinese medicine stores. It is a linament that works miracles on getting rid of bruises/swelling.

Only thing is the odour of it would likely make your eyes water like mad. You wouldn't want to get it in your eye but if you rub it around the affected area and lie down for awhile with your eyes closed it would likely help a lot.

unless ur eye socket is broken, a black eye will last a week on average

If it still hurts and is still bruised or puffy, GO TO THE DOCTOR!!

If it's just discolored massage the area daily and it should go away eventually.

You may have an iron deficiency. You should probably go and see a doctor.

    Do you bruise easily?

That reminds me of a quote I once heard, "The only thing worse than a male chauvinist pig is a woman who doesn't do what she's told."
