Thatís enough, according to Mercedes-Benz, to lower the S600 0-62 mph time from 6.3 seconds to just 4.8 seconds. Top speed remains governed to 155mph, though the S600 is geared to top 180 mph without electronic intervention, according to Mercedes sources. If rumors are correct, look for the Maybach-based powerplant in the SL as well.
