    Default Blackberry Curve 8320 Help

Just picked up an unlocked T-Mobile Curve 8320. As I havent been with Rogers in a number of years I was wondering how to get a music ringtone without downloading and paying for it?

On my previous Rogers phones I could record the song and set it as a ringtone. Im assuming with a BB you can also but this phone has way more technology than I am used to.

Any help would be appriciated. Thanks

Just take an mp3/make a shorter verison of an mp3 from your computer...then transfer it via USB cable/bluetooth.

Just like drag&drop as long as you have the ringtone clip/mp3.

Im still very confused. I have downloaded songs using Ares. I have absolutely no clue how to edit a track. I have also installed the Blackberry Desktop Manager and was told I need to use the Media Manager.

    Here...

    1) Go to www.zedge.com and find your favorite mp3 ringtones already made by other users (all free). You can preview them too.

    2) D/L off the site.

    3) Either put a microSD in your BB, then connect to your computer, it should have a window pop-up saying "view files"...say yes, the select blackberry, then ringtones, then drag&drop the mp3 file you just D/L off zedge.com and put into the ringtones folder.

    4) on your phone...media >> ringtones >> storage device >> apply as ringtone.

Same as if your using media manager, just drag and drop once you get to step 3...
