what happened to the bike for it to need new plastics and certification?

it was I believe low sided, all new plastics, I'm not sure if the subframe was replaced on this one or not, but the frame wasn't touched. I'll find out about the subframe today, I have to get in touch with the guy...

Just to advise everyone it is rebuilt status and has not got its certification yet... Question is why? I'd be suspicious before seriously considering this bike. Also user has many other rebuilt bikes for sale and this is most likely his as well. Buyer beware.

no my name is steve...the bikes owner's name is randy(who also owns the 07 CBR, and the 05 Gixxer)...and the bike bike is going for it's inspection hopefully this weekend.
The R1 is owned by another friend(trever), as is the FZ. and the silver F4i which was already sold was owned by a girl by the name of Stella...
any other questions or comments in regards to ownership should be directed to pms in compliance with marketplace rules. thanks.
