    Default 5 Lug options!

    hey ya'll

So im in the process of buying parts for my 5 lug conversion. I've read alot of threads on zilvia about doing the Z32 upgrade or the Q45 upgrade. There are a couple options for hubs and bearing. Ichiba hubs and brembo brakes..

ANYWAY: i wanted to see what you guys think is the CHEAPEST most effective upgrade for the complete 5 lug conversion...

    Cheers,

    Jonny

ichiba are the best for the cash. don't waste your money on used 5 lug conversions, your risking buying a set with blown bearings so your better off going new

on zilvia i have seen them for like $450 for the set. best bang for your cash imo

the chepest and easliest way is to to get some JDM S14 5lug complete with 4pot front brakes, this way you can upgrade the whole thing at once without sourcing parts piece by piece and put it together and end up paying more.

i tried to PM you but your mail box is full, PM me when you clear it, i have a set of complete 5lug conversion available.

I recommend the q45 upgrade, if you can find it.
it's easier to do, less custom parts, less fabrication, it's cheaper and it's actually a better braking system for a 240.

Though I do have a z32 since parts are easier to get.

or directly to the ichibausa site, pdm racing, attain, OEM, OEM used (zilvia), rhdjapan, there are TONS of 5 lug swap DIY/pages on the net for s13/s14s, just research before you commit to doing it

unless you're sending it somewhere to do it, then let them figure it out lol

A sneeze from Chuck Norris, no lol, just a rubber mallet (no treated/hardened steel hammers or anything crazy like that) or even better if you can find the perfect sized metal cylinder to fit in there then hammer away, but you usually find those near the bearing presser lol.
