I'll start It's an edit/completion of a shot I did a week or so ago for a friend.. Never tried lighting like this..

Experimental shot.
one of those mesh angel things inside those crystal prisims...
1 sec exposure so i had enough time to pop my 430 ex from above.
Lit up the angel,while keeping the crystal transperent.
Levels to darken the background and done.

18-55 kit lens hahah.

Bukka I have a dolphin I'm going to try that on now, some gel packs and a chunk of black fabric I've been meaning to throw into a light box...

here is two of my shots from the FIS World cup..
I got the first shot idea from Mitsu3000gt, but there was a lot of people there, and it was hard to shoot with nothing in the way, I should of got a media pass



I need to try and shoot something else, rather then sports

Took a few quick shots of the fiance looking out the window a few weeks ago, just finished the editing last night.

D80 with SB-600 speed light. 18-70mm lens.



Self Criticisms:
1). Hair is a bit dark, should have bounced more flash off the ceiling.
2). Ear SLIGHTLY out of focus, should have shot around F5-6

^^ Dave, ears dont need to be in focus, the photo looks pretty good. Hair is a little dark, but it makes a nice silhouette with the orange light behind her. Her expression makes me a little depressed though!

Funny you mention it, it was taken shortly after we found out that cash offer was accepted on a house we wanted to buy before we had a chance to make an offer. LOL
