Sometimes you have to take a chance, whether that be on someone, or something!
2 years from conviction date (not date of issue)
3 years for insurance purposes.
Travel
Yep, Bens right
how about driving abstracts since every time ive had to get one they ask me if i want 3 5 or 7 years back (insurance always asks for 3 though) I assume they dont get wiped off there?
3, 5 or 10 years because certain things stay on your record longer.... not the demerits, but the tickets. Such as careless driving, DUI, vehicular manslaughter..... the REALLY bad stuff. Your insurance co might only want 3, but there are lots that want 5. Generally the 10 year is for people joining CPS or the firefighters
If you need demerits wiped off your abstract go take a PDIC course knocks 3 demerits off your record...
They cost a lot of money to takeOriginally posted by civicman

yeah they stay on your abstract, I'm glad my insurance only wanted a 3 year one....a 5 year one and my insurance would probably tripple
