road trip vacation

so as my headline says im planning one going on a rado trip with a friend to florida.

and i kinda need some help with some answers.
1. im 18 but my friend is 19 will that be a problem?
2. am i able to over pay my utities so that they are still paid off ( i hope that made sence)
3. if i was to bring my own "relaxing" beverage will that also be a problem?
4. will hotels or motels let young adults rent for a couple of weeks?

I think thats all my questions for now.

you'll need a credit card for the hotels

legal drinking age is 21 in the US... so not likely gonna be hitting any bars.

I don't think (and I don't know) if you'll be able to bring alcohol across the border(that's if you even tell them you have it) because you won't be 21.

lots of hotels take cash advances because of all the students...where are you planning to go? Daytona is nothing like it use to be. Lauderdale is pretty good, but Miami is happening you just have to be careful, there are some pretty tough neighborhoods.

You can bring liquor into the states if it's for personal use not a gift...but I do believe that since you are technically underage in the US you will be denied.

I would go down and make my way down to the Florida keys...it's lots of fun. Too bad you just missed the space shuttle landing, if you ever get the chance to see a take off I highly recommend it. I did during the 80's it was an experience of a lifetime.

If you do make it into a bar be careful, don't leave your drinks unattended.

im thinkin of heading to orlando but miami is on my mind aswell.

hmm do you think if maybe i told them i am just a
tourest from canada and show them like 5 types of picture
i.d. i would be able to get into a bar?
