2008 Beyond.ca NHL Playoff Pool Thread

The NHL playoffs start next week, so we're starting a NHL playoff pool contest (yah, a little late this year). We will be using the Sportingnews hockey pool so if you haven't signed up there yet, you'll want to register and get your team setup asap. The NHL playoffs start on April 9, 2008 so your team must be finalized before then.

The draft will be quite simple, you have $30M which you will use to buy players for your team. You will buy a total of 7 players; 1 Goalie, 2 Defensemen, 2 Wingers, 1 Center, and 1 Extra Attacker. The lineup you have on April 9th will be used to determine your final rankings amongst the beyond.ca league.

This year, we are changing it up a bit by allowing trades.

If you have suggestions, please do provide them! If any sponsors want to add more prizes in addition to our budget, please send me a PM!

- Finalize team by April 9th, 2008

Scoring
The winner at the end of the NHL playoff season will be the manager of the team with the most points.

I set the league up as a basic league so you will be limited to the free trades. You will be able to purchase additional trades but it wont let you use them.
