good place for a late night date?

Bungalow.... especially if it's a date... hopefully you can get a seat if it's late at night, but none the less, if there's room to stand, it's a great atmosphere (or was when I was a regular)

There's a tea place that opens late called Steeped on nice 17 by the Met. I find the tea there bland but the girls love it
