Default C63 Canadian pricing very reasonable

$63 000, same as American pricing from what I remember, huge surprise.

i think the US msrp is $54k, which is the same price as the M3 down there.

Well I had guessed 66k, but this price is very reasonable, especially compared to the old C55amg pricing.

Woah. Wonder what availability is like. I paid $65K for the 335. Fawk.

Problem with MB, is that by the time you option it out, it will be $90K!

I might have to order one for this fall.

You're thinking Porsches. AMG's usually don't have that many options.

Hello my next car! And apparently it's better spec'ed than the US C63's too:

    "To support front-line Sales, please be advised the Canadian C 63 AMG is higher equipped than the US version;
highlighted by standard AMG Nappa Leather upholstery (vs. standard cloth/ARTICO upholstery)."

In that case, all I need is keyless go and an LSD!

The thread states that the sport package (LSD) isn't available for MY08, have to wait for MY09 to see if it becomes available.

I haven't heard if the sport package is available for US markets.

If we get the leather standard, another $4-$5K of options will make it fully loaded.

Who would've thought MB will undercut Lexus.

Damn that is impressive on the part of MB!

I would love this as a daily driver. Although I just wish they would have manual transmissions available.

I guess since their reliability isn't as good as Lexus' they realize they have to charge less.

It makes no sense to go 335 when the C63 is pretty much the same price.

I dunno how BMW's gonna compete. They HAVE to drop prices. I'm gonna feel sorry for the current 335's and M3 owners pretty soon.

    Wow nice pricing.
Makes you wonder if Audi will ever drop the price on the S-cars seeing as how a fully loaded S5 is $70k

The 335 can't be touched in terms of gas mileage for the amount of power it has.

    hahahhahaha

I doubt there will be a shortage of people wanting a 335 given the C63 pricing. There are more people that are looking for a certain badge, or style than there are people who would jump from a bmw to a mercedes over pricing.

There is also a reliability factor. MB hasn't been too high on the list of reliability lately. This is a brand new car... bound to be issues.

I am just wondering how they detuned 50hp from the car (compared to the E63).
