What's the best way to get my hands on some Oct. 11 Nucks versus Flames season opener tickets lol...besides the scalpers.
sportcheckzone on the release date
What's it like up there in the Sportcheckzone lol.
You could reach up and touch the roof, you will find yourself watching the video screen more then the actual on ice action.Originally posted by jay42w8

Your tears fuel me
^ that's what I thought lol, is the crowd more "interesting"? lol
You mean is it safe for you to be up there? Haha, they're no more rowdier than anyone else in the stadium. I personally like it up there. Only downside is you don't get to see the jumbotron (or whatever it's called now). Since there's no assigned seating, you'll have to be there early to get the "better" seats, but even then you shouldn't have difficulty getting an alright seat if it's just you and a couple people.Originally posted by jay42w8

Gaaawd damn, I can't wait until the season starts again!!
no way guys. sportcheck zone ftw. thats where you find the die hard fans. when your sitting down low its all the executives that dont even give two shits about the game and there just there because they've got company tickets. sportcheck zone is a riot. the fans are 10x the intensity of the loosers sitting in the lower bowl
^ Lol, so in other words, I'm gonna get my ass kicked for wearing a Canucks jersey up there.
youll get hated on up there... But there are actually alot of Nucks Fans in Calgary at the games. @nd biggest fan base in calgary id say, more nucks fans then oilers fans at games.
!DrewBoy!
Yea I know, but I read in the paper last year that some Flames' fans beat up an Oiler's fan for wearing a jersey...this was right on 17th Ave. Ever since then I've been absolutely terrified of Flames' fans.
jk.
Hey as long as you aren't picking an argument with a Flames fan, you have no issues! Just don't be one of those loudmouth fans that taunts a car full of flames fans and you'll be fine.
Reading my post over again I realize how pathetic some flames fans sound...
I used to think this as well.... however.Originally posted by S13_Ryan

Lower bowl or second bowl seats are way better if your there to actually watch the sport of hockey. You can actually see the entire arena and the jumbotron. And the game actually has some speed to it once you get close to the ice.
I've found that there's hardly any real diehards up in the bleeders, just a bunch of teens getting shit faced on herion beer or parents with there 5 kids cause that's all they can afford. The only time we end up sitting in the bleeders in when we can't get tickets anywhere else. They pretty much suck, don't kid yourself haha. There's a reason they're only $20 or whatever.
^ Yeah, but the first two or three rows of the 3rd bowl is fuckin sick! I wish I could get season tickets there... by far the best bang for your buck.
hey dude. im not sayin there the best seats in the house. i get company tickets once n a while on the 3rd row off the railing on the 2nd level.. ... but for 20 bucks. you can not go wrong. id rather pay 20 and be there at every game then pay 200 for one game a month and sit at home for the rest.

naa man when your up high you can see the plays starting to develop, its pretty sweet from any part of the dome to get a different feel of the whole game...but i think nosebleeds are just as good of a spot to watch the game of hockey..
These opinions are entirely my own and do not represent any other person or organization.
haha i could enjoy the game standing in the concourse watching the TV's i love the domee
