The little box on the R8 is a GOPRO Video camera. Its encased in a shockproof and waterproof container. Pretty good sports video camera for $199 bux.

I think the box in question was the black one with the green hoses. Someone said it was a radar jammer.

The tube seems a little short to be an infrasonic generator. Even if it were... I couldn't find any information on the effects of infrasonic waves on radar devices.

Although it probably would scare all of the deer and wildlife off of the highways

They made it to AZ. The driver of the black R8 was arrested and put in jail for "criminal speed".

At 194 kph in a 100, too bad the Lamborghini driver wasn't too. Calling this garbage a rally gives real rallies a bad name.

The safety car comment was funny.

I found it interesting that through the entire duration of the start on Stephen Ave., EMS crews, and CFD crews stopped by to check things out. CPS was nowhere to be seen throughout those 2 hours. I wonder if they (marked officers) were instructed to stay away and not give the message that they are condoning that behaviour.

Either way, the Bull Run left their mark
