    Default Don't go 50 over!

You will get raped with the new law passed in june of last year.
If found guilty the judge can inforce a penaly of up to 25,000$

2 cases i saw when i was there

210 km/h in 80 zone (whitemud) a couple of previous large fine = 1 years suspension, 10 000$ fine, and forfeit his bike.

    168 on qe2 = 6 month suspension 2400$ fine
Both guys had no lawyer and it was pretty funny to watch.

I was found guilty for 134 on groat road but my lawyer was able to let me keep my license (clean record) and 1500$ fine. He new the Prosecutor so i got of easy.

    210 in a 80 zone WTF!!!
Thanks the stupidest thing I've ever heard. At least they'll still let him buy another car or bike. I would ban him to public transit for life.

If you're doing 210 in an 80, one might consider just going home.

I'll admit - I speed on a regular basis... but only to limits I feel are safe. I can't think of any instance where 210 in an 80 zone is safe - no matter how you look at it. Such people deserve to be nailed.

I didn't know that doing 210 in a 80 zone is 50 over, its more like 130 over. The person that drives like deserves whatever the judge gives them. I think that for people that drive like this should have their licenses suspended on the spot.

What difference does it make if its in an 80 zone? How about in a 100km/hr zone. You telling me everybody goes the speed limit on crotch rockets? Every single person i know that has a bike has gone for a top speed run. You telling me all these people deserve to have their liscense suspended?

^^ Yes... doing this on city roads is insane, and deserves immediate suspension no questions asked... they deserve what they got.

A guy at my work just got a 210km/hr in a 60 zone thrown out because the cop forgot to circle adult court on the ticket.

    Lucky bastard.

Everyone makes mistakes once in a while. Its those who dont learn from their mistakes that deserve suspensions and huge fines.

For bikers though, they're not that big of a risk to other people on highways so I think the judge could be a bit more lenient...if the guy was driving a Hummmer or a semi or something, then yeah, suspension by all means.

Are you kidding me. I don't care what you're in, if you're going 210 and hit someone in oncoming traffic, everyone will die. The bike still has a shitload of momentum at that speed.

I can't stand irresponsible motorcycle riders...

    what.... the shit?

A sportbike flying at my windshield that was going 200km/hr is not a big risk to me?

I mean i might get decapitated... but hey, thats not that bad.

I often get urges to run over motorcyclists on the highway for this reason.

Where did they clock you on Groat Rd? It's so windy that there's nowhere for them to set up a speed trap. Unless you mean right at the end of the corners on the north end.

Do you own a BMW? Cause that was a pretty stupid thing to say.
