    Its probably just the pictures.
    Paint reacts differently on bumpers than it does on the rest of the car.
    Plus red just gets beat to death in the heat.
    Could be a number of things.

    the rear bumper is a little bit faded due to the heat in japan.

    that's why its different in the pics.

    also it doesn't look that bad in person then it does in pics.
