Default licenced auto tech needed performance shop

the shop I am employed by needs at least 1 but 2, as I am leaving soon and am the only licenced out of the 3 in the shop.

the work is mostly minor performance work, cam's intakes, crate engines. usualy get a couple supercharger installs a season.

there is restoration work as well as general repair,

most cars are corvettes and muscle cars

I would be happy to give more details fell free to PM me any questions and I will try to answer.

I love the place and would like to help find a tech to replace myself there. and we already really need one more person

I have not given my notice yet, but it would be around the ned of the month.

pay is good, only slightly lower then a general shop and the work day is not rushed, no weekends, no nights. no overtime(but you are able to work over time if you would like)

the shop is western corvette and service.
    located near chinook mall.
the owner recently purchanced it and merged calgary tune up and corvette service with it.

I love the job and hate to leave
I will be giving my notice before the end of the week

they have just added a bonus system.

based on an average of 6 hours billed/day

if then 6hours/day has been beat on billed hours(you are still paid hourly for your 8hrs/day you work)

so example if 1 week your bay billed out 40 hours
so this would mean 5x6=30 hours
    40hours- 30 hours = 10 hours extra

so they will pay you $15/hour on the extra 10 hours you were billed, on top of your 40 hours pay at your hourly wage
so if you billed a full 40 hours every week that would mean $150 bonus for every week. bonus are not paid out weekly but gives you an idea of how it will work

a couple personal reasons that has nothing to do with the job itself,

the new job I have accepted is a pay increase. but they are going to spend 1 day/week to train me on the business end of it. the current owner runs more then one shop and the position could very likely work up to a service manager position or even a partner in a future venture of his.

I had taken a large pay cut to take the job at western corvette and was glad I did. but I am the only income for a family of 4 and every dollar counts and with a home purchace planned in a about a year any increase in income will help

    it sounds confusing

basicaly you get your hourly wage

then for every hour billed over 6/day you get 15$ (averaged over a period of time)

so if you averaged 8 hours/day you get $30/day bonus
